Our Company

In October 2004 Prickel Electric was established as a sole proprietorship as Randy Prickel the Organizer and Angie Prickel as an unpaid working member.

The company began with a mutual consent by Angie and Randy Prickel for Randy to leave his previous employer of 8 ½ years where he started as their first employee in the communications industry and tipped the employee scale of 250 plus employees at the time of his departure to begin a professional journey as business owners.

Angie being a full-time wife and mother vowed to work along-side Randy to start Prickel Electric and over-see the business, administrative, legal and fiduciary aspects of the business. Randy being a licensed Master Electrician and well known in the Telecommunications industry ventured out to explore the open range of the industry he had come to love. The company started with one customer and now holds qualifications and /or professional relationships with 90 plus customers over the past 10 ½ years. Randy holds licenses in several states, cities and counties.

Starting from a 10×16 storage unit, a small truck and trailer with Randy and a helper in the field…Prickel has now grown to a three building shop with 20 employees and is a top name in the industry. We have had the privilege of being part of large and small projects from funeral home parking lot lighting, schools, campgrounds and tower raw-lands to Tesla charging stations.

In 2013, Angie Prickel became majority owner of the company and in 2014 became a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise Nation Council as a certified WBE, to make Prickel Electric a minority owned business.

As we continue to be a leading contender in the Telecommunications Industry we are looking to join forces with other customers that will allow us to grow and diversify our company.
